It's a bit wonky due to Shovel Knight's broader shoulders compared to Toon Link, but I'll try to figure something out. It'll take a little more work, so I'm probably going to release the first seven by themselves before the eighth. I've also decided on my 8th skin, so no need to give me any more ideas. I still need to fix some problems with disappearing parts and UV errors, but everything's going pretty good right now. Rigging isn't exactly one of my strong points, so it took a while, but right now, it's looking fairly good. So I've been doing rigging over the past few days. I'll start working on UI elements as well right about now. I'm currently looking into this with all of my might.Īs for material, that's for until after I get the appearing/disappearing parts issue sorted out. The main issue right now is trying to get the parts to stay visible the parts seem to randomly disappear or reappear arbitrarily no matter WHAT I name the model parts. The rig is working fine in game, and thanks to the Split by UV Islands script, the UV's on this guy look A-ok. I've been a bit busy these past few days, so I didn't get as much work done as I would've liked, but I did make some gnarly progress when I did. I haven't a chance to take a new screenshot.

The ones I have right now are centered better. Oh, and the screenshot of the CSS is using a slightly outdated CSP set. No two-shovel nonsense or randomly disappearing helmet or face or whatever.Īt this point, all I really need are some aesthetics, like material editing, and some other stuff that's trivial but important (to me, at least). Now, when Shovel Knight puts his shovel on his back, it actually goes on its back. I FINALLY got the disappearing crap fixed.
